Jobs at Kopernikus Automotive

We are a startup that develops autonomous driving solutions for public and private ground. We already completed several projects at parking garages, factories and exhibitions and have a lot more projects in the pipeline. This is an example of our solution: Vehicles Could Soon Be Driving Themselves Off The Production Line at Ford’s Cologne EV Centre. The Development Team at Kopernikus Automotive is in need for talented people who would love to join us as part of our Verification & Validation Team. We are currently facing the challenge of aiming for full compliance to Automotive as well as safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and ISO 21448 for an autonomous driving system relying on fully AI-based perception.

While close collaboration with our development teams is needed, remote work is possible.

We are currently looking to hire:

  • Supporting development teams throughout the entire development process from early prototypes up until series deployment.

  • Contributions to completeness of technical documentation and safety cases for our individual projects to prove performance and safety of our system and SW solutions.

  • Close collaboration with relevant internal and external interfaces for coordination and execution of V&V activities.

  • You have a quick understanding of how a system works and are willing to dig into our solutions and analyze every aspect of them.

  • You do not shy away from challenges and like to get creative, finding the optimal solution for a problem, both drawing on your experience and trying to find new approaches.

  • You are fluent in English and know your way around the German language. While our company language is English, you might need to communicate with project partners in German.
