Software Engineer / Kernel Level Developer (m/f/d) - Leipzig
The successful candidate will be developing a flexible bootloader system on the Nvidia DrivePX-platform, as well as customizing the runtime-environment for real-time and safety-critical uses cases. We are looking for programmers and engineers with a clear focus on automotive engineering that embraces the autonomous car future. You will be working in a dynamic and multi-cultural Environment and will collaborate in international teams in the highly competitive field of autonomous vehicles and their drive-by-wire adaptation.
The successful candidate will have:

Strong experience in maintaining a customized operating system on kernel level and above and optimizing/down-stripping for real-time environment

Experience with assembly development on ARM, low-level drivers, bootloading-procedures and OTA-update-solutions

Ability to write documentation and defining standard procedures for integration into high level functionality

Computer Skills: C/C++; development on (RT)Linux, QNX, Android; Yocto, Mender, QT; Jenkins; Git

BSc or an Advanced Degree MSc, MEng, MRes or PhD in computer science, electronics, electric, mechatronic or telecommunications engineering
Contract length: permanent
